Description
The Counter Lead is responsible for supporting their Brand in driving sales turnover and market share through consistently remaining consumer-focused.
They are accountable for achieving this by:
* reflecting a credible and professional Brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times
* maximising sales through selling, providing excellent service, and retail standards
* contributing to efficiencies through adhering to store/Brand/Company Procedures and guidelines
* understanding daily/weekly targets
* ensuring personal awareness of all additional sales avenues, such as eventing, Omni, and digital channels
* keeping up to date with competitor activities and missed opportunities
* effectively leveraging social media to drive the business and enhance the Brand image
* delivering the Brand Strategy and local plans
* planning and implementing local marketing & events initiatives aligned with retailer activity
* delivering service excellence by continually improving service levels and creating a surprise and delight culture
* being an ambassador for the Brand and ensuring Brand values are represented
* managing refunds and complaints per company guidelines, involving the Area Manager when necessary
* using digital tools to stay updated
* delivering consumer recruitment and retention strategies to grow loyalty
* developing product knowledge to deliver industry-leading experiences
* ensuring standards in product, housekeeping, displays, messaging, and pricing are maintained
* reviewing retail standards daily
* completing deliveries, stock movements, and administration within set timeframes
* ensuring all processes and administration follow company guidelines and addressing risks
* fulfilling information requests accurately and on time
* minimising stock loss by following security policies
* creating a safe environment for consumers and staff, adhering to policies and procedures
* achieving a minimum overall grading of 'Acceptable' during audits for health & safety
Commerciality
* Managing daily replenishment and taking appropriate actions
* Maximising sales using all commercial reports
* Planning and delivering visual merchandising layouts
* Identifying stock issues and taking corrective actions
* Managing promotions and discounts per guidelines
* Making trend-based suggestions to improve product performance
Qualifications
* Experience in a fast-paced retail or consumer-facing environment
* Ability to drive self-development
* Commercial understanding of the industry
* Effective communication, organization, and prioritization skills
