Responsibilities and Duties
* Delivering the People Plan as part of a dedicated HR Team, and alongside business leaders
* Working closely with employees to implement people plans locally
* Facilitating HR programmes including performance management and policy implementation
* Supporting and facilitating contentious issues that have escalated or that involve senior management
* Working proactively with the business to ensure there is a positive Employee Relations environment, and strong levels of employee engagement in the region
* Co-ordinating and managing Employee engagement activity in the region
* Working with the Senior Managers to drive up line management capability and ownership of people management
* Working with leadership teams to facilitate succession planning and coaching
* Helping to drive performance across the business through MI
* Initiating, leading and supporting HR projects
* Working to ensure training needs are identified and addressed
* Facilitating the recruitment and assessment process for roles in the business area
* Ensuring the delivery of customer centric and supportive HR service
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
* Developing and managing change programmes
* Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage with, and influence a range of stakeholders
* Reporting and providing insight
* Policy implementation, performance management, and employee relations
* Strong commercial awareness, business understanding
* Confidence in dealing with contentious issues, using professionalism and confidentiality
* Strong team ethic with the ability to work across departments, preferably in a matrix structure
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proven experience of prioritising work in an environment with changing priorities
