Permanent Night Veterinary Nurse - Abingdon, Oxfordshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Abingdon, Oxfordshire for a Permanent Night Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role is part time for 1 in 10 nights.

4. Hours: Part time, 1 in 10 night shifts
5. Weekends: On a rota
6. OOH: Yes
7. On call: N/A
8. Team: 9 vets, 8 RVNs, 3 SVNs and a supportive non-clinical team
About the role:
9. The role will involve a variety of general nursing duties including anaesthesia, radiology, ultrasonography and in patient care
10. The practice offers a flexible working pattern to support a work-life balance EG: Shifts to suit school pick ups however cover is required on Monday, Thursdays and Fridays as a minimum

13. The practice is fully equipped with facilities including ultrasound, endoscope, dental x-ray and an in house laboratory
14. The have a team of 9 vets, 8 RVNs, 3 SVNs and a large support team
15. They have a dedicate night team
16. They are located close to the City centre and surrounded by local amenities
17. The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.

About you:
20. They are for an enthusiastic and motivated RVN who work well as part of a team
21. The Nurse will have great communication skills, organisational skills and have an approachable manner
22. They will provide an excellent service to all clients and be able to build rapport easily

23. Salary: Up to £30, pro rata, commensurate to experience
24. CPD: Generous allowance of £ with 3 days to attend
