We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team based at Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth.

Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Responsibilities
We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our major projects Devonport team, supporting them with the redevelopment of 10 docks at Devonport Dockyard.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Manage commercial resources (finance) of the assigned project (or section) to maximize planned gross margin through the placement and control of contracts and subcontracts.
* Provide commercial expertise to contracts, including the production and submission of valuations, claims, budget monitoring, and contract/workstream performance data.
* Assess, review, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks and implement Kier Group policies for risk management.
* Support the authorization and submission of project variations. Authorize the placement of contracts, subcontracts, material, and plant orders.
* Maximize cash flow through the control, measurement (including quality), and valuation of work, invoicing of customers, and payment of suppliers. This includes valuing work executed by sub-contractors and certifying interim and final payments.
What we are looking for?
This role of Quantity Surveyor is ideal if:
* You hold a Quantity Surveying degree.
* You have a CSCS card.
* You are a professional member of RICS or another recognized body.
