Infrastructure Automation Engineer X3-Aruba- DevOps- Network Automation Network Infrastructure Automation Engineer X3 with strong skills in network automation and ideally expereince of migrating networks from Cisco to Aruba, is needed to support our higher education client drive forward the automation of their network automation, which is the largest across the UK higher education sector. The scope will be to design, implement and test the automation of Network Infrastructure development which enables a scalable, secure, automated and resilient network service across our clients network estate. Infrastructure Automation Engineer X3-Aruba- DevOps- Network Automation Essential Expereince Experience of network system particularly Aruba technology stack, ideally with expereince of migrating from Cisco to Aruba. Expereince of working on large scale network transformation programmes Technical lead of infrastructure-as-code (IaC), automation, deployment, configuration, management and scaling. Network infrastructure automation using DevOps practices. Strong hands-on experience with: Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) AND Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPNs, firewalls). Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). Scripting skills including Python and React. Expereince of working within an Agile environment including using Jira and ideally SAFe scaled Agile expereince. Ability to build automated pipelines and orchestration frameworks for hybrid environments (on-premises, private/public cloud) including automation testing. Skills to integrate infrastructure automation into CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment. Ability to design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible and GitHub. Skills to automate provisioning and configuration of network infrastructure ( firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, SD-WAN). Expereince of the development of reusable patterns, modules, templates and playbooks that ensure consistency, auditability, and rapid service enablement. 6 Month initial contract with scope for a long term extension £550-£600 per day inside IR35 Hybrid working with 1-2 days on site in London InterQuest Group is acting as an employment agency for this vacancy.
