Primary School Teacher – South Gloucestershire
Vision for Education are seeking passionate and dedicated Primary School Teachers to work across welcoming mainstream primary schools in South Gloucestershire, starting this September.
This is a 0-hour contract role offering full flexibility, with opportunities for the right Primary School Teacher to move into long-term and permanent positions.
We are looking for a Primary School Teacher who is enthusiastic about delivering engaging, high-quality lessons and inspiring a love of learning across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
About the Primary School Teacher Role
As a Primary School Teacher, you will be working across a range of supportive schools in South Gloucestershire, delivering the National Curriculum and creating positive learning experiences for pupils.
The Primary School Teacher role is ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to gain varied classroom experience while maintaining flexibility.
Responsibilities of the Primary School Teacher
As a Primary School Teacher, you may:
1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
2. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment as a Primary School Teacher
3. Assess, track, and support pupil progress
4. Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
5. Manage classroom behaviour effectively as a Primary School Teacher
6. Work collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams
7. Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development

What We’re Looking For
To be successful as a Primary School Teacher, you must:
12. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
13. Have a passion for working as a Primary School Teacher in primary education
14. Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and reliable
15. Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
16. Be confident delivering engaging lessons across primary age groups
17. Hold an Enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one)
