RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COMMUNITIES PROJECT OFFICER Following the successful delivery and letting of 51 new homes in Phase 1, the Navigation Way development is now moving into Phase 2, which will complete the rollout of the remaining new properties and continue the expansion of the Council’s social housing stock. The Phase 2 Project Officer will lead the coordination, delivery, and operational readiness of the remaining homes, ensuring the project continues to meet high standards of tenant experience, service integration, and stock growth efficiency. The post holder will work across multiple teams—Housing Services, Allocations, Repairs, Assets, Communities & Projects, and Communications—as well as external partners and contractors. Their role is to ensure that properties, systems, contracts, communications, and tenant support arrangements are fully prepared ahead of each release of homes SKILLS/EXPERIENCE COMMUNITIES PROJECT OFFICER JOB Strong project coordination and organisational skills. Ability to work confidently across multiple teams and disciplines. Experience in housing, income collection, allocations, tenancy management and support or related fields.
