Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a CNC Turning Operator - Nights at UPE Engineering Ltd, based in Bedfordshire. The responsibilities include operating and setting CNC machines effectively, ensuring high‑quality standards are met, conducting inspections and measurements of machined parts, and maintaining machinery to uphold peak performance. You will be required to collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines and ensure adherence to safety and company standards.
* Strong skills in Machine Operation and familiarity with operating CNC machinery
* Knowledge and experience in Machining and Turning processes
* Experience with Quality Control practices to ensure accurate and high‑quality output
* Understanding of machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Attention to detail and commitment to delivering precision work
* Proven ability to work in an on‑site, fast‑paced, and collaborative environment
* Relevant technical qualifications and prior CNC experience preferred
