Wh ere you’ll b e working: As an Environmental Practitioner Apprentice (Level 6) at Baxi you’ll be wor k ing within the Health, Safety & Environment team. This role is central to Baxi’s overall strategy of transitioning to low carbon heating solutions and operations by 2030. Unlike many roles in this sector you’ll benefit from experience with both our Environmental & H&S Leader s which will be a fantastic elevation for your career and development at Baxi. What you’ll be doing: Your role will be central to the development and success of Ba xi, you’ll be provi di ng a high level of professional environmental expertise to include the sharing of relevant policies, regulations and legislation which Baxi and the BDR Thermea Group must consider. You will support in data collection and analysis, ensuring compliance across all areas including legal, group and company. You will be supported at all times by your te a m and your dedicated mentor to understand our current H&S and E nvironmental and S ustainability strategies. Who We ’re Looking For You will have a strong interest in sustainability and the environment and experience within social engagement. You will want to work in a small team in which you will have an important role but also be supported. You will support our main goal to delivering a strong and sustainable environmental policy that aligns with the groups strategy. Experience as leader/mentor or coach within a social engagement venture e.g. Duke of Edinburgh, Scouts, Guides, woodland trust etc GCSE Maths and English ‘level 5’ or higher. Three A-levels at grades ‘BBC’ or BTEC ‘DMM’ or International Baccalaureate score of ‘29’. Aptitude for maths and in particular data analysis Good IT skills, including familiarity with MS Office software A desire to learn, and the ability to problem solve and work independently when Adaptable approach to constantly changing environment.
