Role: Community Wellbeing Champion
Join us at Lancashire Mind as a Community Wellbeing Champion and make a real difference in our community!
As a Community Wellbeing Champion, you’ll play a key role in helping us to challenge stigma and promote positive mental health throughout Lancashire. You’ll start by attending an induction session where you’ll learn about our mission, values, and the services we offer. We’ll also provide guidance and training to help you feel confident in talking about mental health and engaging with your community.
You’ll be invited to join us at local events to support our team and learn more about the work we do at Lancashire Mind. As you grow into the role, we hope you’ll feel confident representing us at events within your own community.
This is a flexible and adaptable role—each Champion brings something unique. You might use social media to share our updates and events, or simply talk about us with friends, neighbours, or local groups. However you choose to get involved, your support helps us raise awareness and connect more people with mental health support.
Above all, we want you to share our vision of a Lancashire where everyone has the opportunity to have the best mental health and wellbeing possible.
Availability
Any time you can give is greatly appreciated. Whether you can do a little or a lot, your involvement will help us create a healthier, more connected Lancashire.
