Role Summary To lead, supervise and coordinate Team Leaders and Production Operatives to deliver high-quality vehicle conversions safely, efficiently and to schedule. The Production Supervisor is responsible for meeting production targets across cost, quality, delivery and efficiency while maintaining high standards of workmanship and team engagement. Supervise Team Leaders and Production Operatives engaged in LCV conversions including van fit-outs, passenger vehicle conversions and chassis cab builds. Monitor, control and report production KPIs including cost, quality, delivery, labour efficiency, build times, rework, housekeeping and absence. Ensure all vehicles are built to specification, quality standards and regulatory requirements, taking ownership of Quality Control and right-first-time build. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, optimise build times and control costs. Identify and resolve production issues quickly, making sound decisions to minimise disruption and downtime. Lead, motivate and develop direct reports, building effective and engaged teams. Conduct performance management activities including coaching, absence management and disciplinary procedures where required. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, particularly Health & Safety, quality and environmental standards. Support the introduction of new products, processes and build methods, ensuring teams are trained and capable. Actively contribute to a culture of accountability, flexibility and continuous improvement within the production environment.
