About the role As a Senior Social Worker in the North Locality Adolescent Service (based in Reigate, Woodhatch Place), you'll work with children and families to identify strengths, understand risks, and create collaborative plans that support positive, sustainable change. You'll also provide leadership and mentoring to junior colleagues and contribute to developing the service, supporting a culture of excellence and shared learning. You'll have access to dedicated support from adult mental health workers, domestic abuse officers, and substance misuse specialists, working together to offer holistic and informed interventions. Your focus will be on keeping children safe within their families and communities - building trust, resilience, and stability. Key Responsibilities Lead complex adolescent cases, providing expert assessment and intervention. Mentor and support junior social workers within the team. Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to improve family outcomes. Maintain accurate, timely records using Liquid Logic. Promote best practice and contribute to service development initiatives.
