We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Floor Manager to oversee daily operations within our bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations during shifts, ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction
* Supervise and manage restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and support staff
* Coordinate food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards
* Monitor food production processes to maintain quality and consistency
* Assist with food presentation and ensure culinary standards are met or exceeded
* Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality and service standards
* Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and optimise table utilisation
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and food safety protocols
* Handle customer enquiries or complaints promptly to uphold the restaurant's reputation
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency
Qualifications
* Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
* Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
* Extensive restaurant experience including food preparation, cooking, serving, and kitchen operations
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production
* Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
* Experience in hospitality management or hotel industry is advantageous
* Culinary experience or background in food preparation is desirable
* Bar experience is a must ,
* Ability to do stock take independently.
