Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist dentists during procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of daily clinic activities. Duties
* Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
* Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with health and safety standards
* Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients
* Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times
* Support patients by answering questions and providing reassurance throughout their visit
* Manage appointment scheduling, reminders, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient clinic operations
* Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organised work environment
* Support the team with general administrative duties as required
Qualifications
* Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Good IT skills.
* Knowledge of nursing principles and practices relevant to dental care is advantageous
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate empathy towards patients
