Flintstone Technology is a dynamic engineering company based in Dundee, Scotland, specializing in the design and manufacture of innovative permanent mooring solutions for the global energy sector. Since its founding in 2012, Flintstone has built a reputation for delivering high-performance solutions including hull and seabed connectors and tensioning systems. Now part of the Bekaert Group, Flintstone operates with the agility of a small team—currently around 16 employees—while benefiting from the backing of a global industrial leader. The company fosters a collaborative and forward-thinking culture, where every team member plays a vital role in driving innovation and delivering excellence to clients worldwide. Purpose and Mission The Administrator will serve as the primary contact for visitors, ensuring a welcoming experience, while providing comprehensive administrative support to staff and consultants across various tasks. Key Activities and Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for visitors, managing sign-in procedures and delivering safety briefings. Handle incoming telephone calls and direct inquiries appropriately. Maintain accurate records including purchase orders, delivery notes, material traceability, and document control for internal teams, suppliers, and clients. Provide holiday cover for purchasing and document control functions, ensuring continuity of operations. Monitor supplier performance, certifications, due dates, and expedite orders when required. Support financial and administrative tasks such as invoice coding, data entry, credit card and expense reconciliation, and utility data analysis. Assist with logistics and compliance activities including waste documentation, equipment certification, and shipping/export/import processes. Manage stationery inventory and update digital platforms including social media and company website. Skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Visio and Publisher is a plus. Confident use of Outlook for email management, scheduling, and coordinating meetings. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams. Solid educational background combined with practical office experience, including accurate touch typing. Advanced word processing and IT capabilities, with an eagerness to learn new tools and systems. Ability to perform under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities. Outstanding organizational and time management skills, demonstrating precision and attention to detail. High level of integrity, reliability, and discretion when handling confidential information, coupled with initiative and flexibility. Previous Experience A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role or relevant further education is required. Comprehensive training will be provided for all specific in-house processes and systems. Qualifications And Education Education: Minimum of five Standard Grades, including English and Mathematics Further Education: Business or Secretarial qualifications are desirable but not essential.
