Join our Team as a Direct Freight Planner!
An opportunity has arisen for a Direct Freight Planner for the Land product area. The successful candidate can be based in Basildon at our Land branch.
1. Location : Basildon, UK
2. Hours : 9:00 to 17:30
3. Salary : £27,000 to £33,000
What will you be doing?
4. Understanding Customer Requirements and ensuring the delivery of first-class Customer Service.
5. Planning, arranging, monitoring, and controlling all elements of Direct Land Transport LTL & FTL (Door to Door) and the completion of all associated documentation (operational, administrative & legal).
6. Operation of DB Schenker IT Systems, Microsoft Office & associated tools.
7. Understanding and adhering to company Quality Policy and Objectives, and maintenance of KPI’s.
8. Timely and accurate generation of Client sales Invoicing and timely processing of costs & sales outside of agreements in electronic form.
9. Timely and effective response to general inquiries and queries, or escalation if unable to deal with completely or accurately.
10. Compliance with all Legal, Regulatory and Company Standards.
11. Compliance with the companies H&S Policy and practices and contribute to creating a safer working environment.
About You
12. Previous experience in a similar role.
13. Knowledge of the logistics/transport sector.
14. Attention to detail.
15. High levels of energy, sound judgement and determination to achieve with a sense of urgency.
16. Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
17. Excellent communication skills.
