We have a brilliant opportunity for a Training Manager to join our specialized Kilkeel site in Ireland. The Training Manager will facilitate the job-related technical training function for the site, while supporting line managers and the organization in achieving operational excellence. This role focuses on identifying, facilitating and evaluating learning and development initiatives that align with business goals and drive performance improvements.

What you will do
1. Collaborate with Line Managers to identify training needs and implement solutions that enhance operational performance.
2. Conduct training needs analyses, leveraging tools such as probation reviews, annual performance evaluations, and other feedback mechanisms.
3. Develop a long-term, resourced training plan aligned with identified employee needs and organizational objectives.
4. Design, develop, and deliver customized training programs based on business requirements.
5. Source and oversee the delivery of training programs and courses, ensuring alignment with business needs.
6. Manage and execute Learning and Development (L&D) projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
7. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
8. Schedule and coordinate all employee training activities, including refresher sessions, while maintaining accurate training records.
9. Monitor and manage the training budget, ensuring optimal use of resources.

Experience & Skills
Essential Criteria:
12. Proven experience in a comparable training or learning and development role.
13. Proven ability to develop and deliver training materials to diverse audiences, including larger groups.
14. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
15. Current eligibility to work in Ireland or the EU.
Desirable criteria:
16. Experience in developing and deploying technical training programs within an organization.
17. Prior experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
18. Demonstrable experience in a comparable training or learning and development role.
