Westbank Community Health and Care is looking for a Service Development Manager to help drive the growth and sustainability of our health, wellbeing and carer services.

What you’ll be doing
1. Identifying and developing new opportunities for funded services
2. Leading on tenders, funding bids and business proposals
3. Building strong partnerships with the NHS, local authorities and community organisations
4. Developing innovative service models and income-generating ideas
5. Supporting the growth and performance of existing contracts
6. Analysing trends, policy and local needs to shape future services

What we’re looking for
7. Experience in service development, commissioning, or contract management within health, social care or the voluntary sector
8. Experience writing successful bids, tenders or funding applications
9. Strong understanding of the wider VCSE landscape
10. Excellent communication, networking and influencing skills
11. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
12. A proactive, solutions-focused and collaborative approach
13. Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to spot trends and opportunities
Desirable:
14. Experience in the voluntary or community sector
15. Experience developing new or innovative service models
16. Understanding of social value or impact measurement
