A client within the Public Sector based in Worcestershire is currently recruiting for a Water Hygiene Manager to join their Compliance and Facilities Management team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on a rolling contract with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a property compliance or estates environment. The Role Key purpose of the role is lead on water hygiene compliance across the council’s estate, ensuring that water systems across corporate and school buildings meet all legislative standards, including Legionella control and ACOP L8 requirements. The role focuses on contractor management, risk assessments, policy development, and strategic oversight of water hygiene services. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: • Managing and delivering the council’s water hygiene compliance strategy. • Overseeing Legionella risk assessments, audits, and remedial works. • Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring service compliance. • Leading stakeholder meetings and producing compliance reports. • Providing leadership and technical guidance on water hygiene matters.
