Paramount Personnel are recruiting for an experienced sous chef, to join its brigade, a hotel Restaurant venue in the Honiton, Devon area. Working in a fast paced kitchen, the successful sous chef will be well experienced in catering for events, as well as being familiar within a Hotel setting. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a sous chef capacity, working within a similar setting.
Sous Chef responsibilities to include;
7. Work closely with the Head Chef, ensuring smooth running of kitchen operations.
8. Instrumental in menu development, ensuring the high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency across all events.
9. Training, motivating and supervising junior chefs, maintaining a positive and efficient working environment.
10. Managing inventory, minimising waste and strictly adhering to all health, safety and hygiene regulations.
