We are looking for an outstanding Kitchen Assistant who is passionate about food and wants to make a difference.
You will be working full time, 40 hours per week (including some weekends), at Cygnet Fountains, creating an excellent experience for the people in our care.
Cygnet Fountains is a high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service for men who have severe and enduring mental illness and who may have been detained under the Mental Health Act. The individuals we support come to us following multiple placement breakdowns, failed treatment programmes, or stepping down from secure settings.

Responsibilities include:
* Assist in the preparation of balanced, appetising meals
* Perform cooking tasks and other kitchen duties
* Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen, service areas, and dining room
* Wash utensils and dishes, and ensure they are stored appropriately
* Maintain personal hygiene to comply with Cygnet standards and food hygiene regulations
* Handle, maintain, and store kitchen equipment according to Cygnet procedures
* Use chemicals in line with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations
