Job Description Summary
* Delivers straightforward administrative and/or other basic business services in Customer Service.
* Receives requests by mail, telephone, or in person regarding insurance claims/policies.
* Responds to inquiries from policyholders, providers, and others for information and assistance.
* Performs research to respond to inquiries and interprets policy provisions to determine the most effective response. Mails or routes claim forms and supporting documentation for final processing.
* Requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to understand and interpret policy provisions. Responds independently to inquiries, grievances, complaints, or appeals of routine to moderate complexity.
* Possesses good knowledge of Customer Service processes and works within clearly defined procedures under supervision.

We have exciting permanent opportunities at Cigna for a Customer Service Representative supporting clients globally.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our global members with private medical insurance.
We welcome you if you are a ‘people person’ with an empathetic nature, as you will support customers during difficult times.
Previous Customer Service experience isn’t essential; we provide 5 weeks of classroom training to prepare you for success.
What we require:
* A commitment to 35 hours/week.
* Availability for 8 weeks of induction training starting 7th July 2025 at our Greenock office.
* Willingness to work shifts between Monday-Sunday, 7am-11pm.
* Ability to travel to Greenock office 2-3 times per week after training.
What you'll do:
Provide exceptional customer service via phone or email, aiming for first contact resolution and timely claims processing.
Offer high-quality advice and information regarding health benefits, monitor turnaround times, and collaborate with internal departments and service partners.
Support team goals and perform ad-hoc tasks as needed.
