About the role Concept Plus is seeking a Computer Engineer to provide entry-level engineering and technical support for a federal client. This position supports the sustainment and modernization of client information systems, under the direction of senior engineers and project manager. What you'll do Assist in the design, development, testing, and integration of hardware and software solutions for DoD clinical information systems. Support system troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization activities. Contribute to technical documentation, including system specifications and user guides. Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with client security, privacy, and data protection requirements. Participate in training, release management, and reporting activities as directed by senior staff. Maintain awareness of current client engineering standards and best practices. Qualifications US Citizenship Active Secret Government Clearance Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Physics, Network Security, Information Systems, Computer Science or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science Must have, or be working towards achieving within 18 months Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) certification Preferred: Three (3) years of technical experience in support of Engineering, Systems Analysis, Medical Systems, Information Assurance, Web Development, or Engineering Management, to include: Systems/Equipment Support Test and Evaluation support of C4ISR requirements. One (1) year of technical experience in support of Information assurance/network protection or virtualization projects. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
