SK9 are seeking an accomplished Engineering Operations Manager to drive efficiency, quality, and safety across this multinational firm's operations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead day-to-day engineering operations, ensuring output meets quality, safety, and delivery standards.
* Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes, reduce waste, and optimise performance.
* Oversee compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a positive safety culture.
* Manage and develop a high-performing engineering team, providing clear leadership and direction.
* Analyse operational metrics and drive data-informed decision-making.
* Lead projects aimed at enhancing production reliability, efficiency, and sustainability.
* Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and long-term planning.
Skills and Experience
* Proven track record in engineering operations management within a manufacturing or technical environment.
* Strong knowledge and practical application of Lean Six Sigma principles (Green/Black Belt preferred).
* Demonstrated experience in health and safety management and compliance.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to engage, coach and develop teams.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-driven approach.
* Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
