Brief Description
We are supporting a successful consulting firm to hire a Technology Director into their Security, Policing and Justice team. This is a key leadership role for someone who has a strong consulting background and has delivered technology enabled transformation within Home Office, Policing, Justice, Borders or wider Security environments. You will help shape complex programmes, work directly with senior government stakeholders and play a central role in growing a high demand practice.
Responsibilities
• Shape and lead technology enabled transformation programmes across Home Office, Policing, Justice and related environments.
• Work directly with senior government stakeholders to understand needs, define strategy and translate this into deliverable outcomes.
• Identify, shape and convert opportunities into multi million pound programmes in collaboration with account and delivery teams.
• Provide credible technology advisory on areas such as cloud, enterprise platforms, case management, data and AI.
• Support practice development, capability growth and the development of junior team members.
• Contribute to bids, proposals and go to market activity, bringing deep sector insight.
• Ensure delivery quality and oversee governance, risk management and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
• Significant experience in consulting, ideally from a Big 4 or recognised technology consulting firm.
• Proven track record of delivering technology enabled transformation within Home Office, Policing, MoJ, Borders or wider Security and Justice environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud, enterprise platforms, case management solutions, digital transformation and data led change.
• Experience shaping and winning multi million pound programmes and influencing senior stakeholders at director and CIO level.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to engage senior leaders.
• Ability to work in London two to three days per week.
