The role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of a resident engineering team responsible for maintaining automated material handling systems in a clean, well-organised environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
Reactive and planned maintenance across conveyors, cranes, shuttles, and ASRS equipment.
Mechanical maintenance including motors, rollers, belts, bearings, pumps, valves, pipework, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Electrical fault finding including safe isolation, three-phase systems, contactors, sensors, and control panels.
Using tablet-based CMMS systems to raise, receive, and close jobs with near-total time accountability.
This Maintenance Engineer position is hands-on, safety-focused, and ideal for engineers who enjoy working with modern automation.
What we’re looking for
To be successful as a Maintenance Engineer, you will need:
A recognised engineering qualification equivalent to a Level 3 or above (NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC etc.)
Confidence fault finding mechanically and electrically and working safely at height.
A personable, team-focused approach with strong communication skills.
