Why Choose This Role?
As an Assistant Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of site-based projects and will support the control and delivery of our construction projects in Exeter/Ivybridge. You will promote and support customer relations within the site team and ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met. When necessary, you will deputize for the Site Manager.
What you will do:
* Support Site Management in driving efficient, on-budget construction in line with our programme
* Coordinate materials, plant, and labour to meet construction and finishing requirements
* Supervise site teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with NHBC standards and our specifications
* Prioritize safety through regular inspections and vigilance over site health and safety standards
* Assist in preparing properties for customer handover and communal areas for management use
Your Attributes
You will bring:
* Experience & Knowledge: Background in trades, supervisory roles, or site management
* CSCS Card: Required at an appropriate level
* Tech Savvy: Basic computer skills for record keeping
* Problem-Solver: Initiative and sound decision-making skills
* Team Player: Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
You will have:
* A valid UK Driving License
* The ability to learn policies and procedures quickly
* Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
* Time management, resilience, flexibility, multi-tasking, and agility
