Role OverviewThe Audit Assistant Manager will play a key role within the Business Advisory Services Department, managing audit teams on-site, acting as the main point of contact for clients during fieldwork, and keeping senior management informed throughout the audit process.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead audit fieldwork and manage client relationships
* Assess audit risks and tailor approaches accordingly
* Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements
* Review junior team members’ work and provide feedback
* Prepare draft financial statements and disclosures
* Address audit queries and adjustments professionally
* Stay up to date with technical and regulatory developments
Working Arrangements
* 35-hour work week (Mon–Fri, 09:30–17:30)
* Hybrid model: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote

Candidate Requirements
* ACA, ACCA, CA (or equivalent) qualification
* Proven experience leading audits from planning to completion
* Strong project management and team leadership skills
* Excellent communication and technical proficiency
* Familiarity with audit software (e.g., Excel, Audit Automation, CCH, Caseware)
