Overview
Creative Support is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to manage our team of support staff at our Mental Health service in Whalley Range. A good understanding and experience in the field of mental health is required.
Responsibilities
* Directly lead the team and be responsible for the line management of team members
* Operate as a Team Leader across different streams of support and ensure effective running of services with the support of other senior staff
* Provide direct support to service users
* Deliver person‑centred care and support to enable people with mental health needs to live as independently as possible and be part of their community
* Engage with service users and build trusting therapeutic relationships
* Undertake assessments of new referrals and ensure robust review processes for those who use the services
* Work closely with other professionals and agencies to provide a coordinated personalised service, promoting recovery and maintaining quality of life
* Deputise for the Mental Health Manager in relevant work areas when required; provide staff supervision and management, including initial assessments and liaison with other professionals and agencies
