Teaching Personnel have a great opportunity to work with a SEN school in Stoke on Trent, the school cater for young people aged 6 to 19 who have complex communication and social needs typically associated with Autism spectrum conditions.
The school are seeking an innovative Teacher of ICT/STEM who can drive forwards the approach and create innovative lessons which will enthuse the students. Strong ICT skills, a passion for staying informed and engaged with technology and the ability to share this with others.
Candidate Specification
* PGCE, Qualified Teacher status or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training.
* Strong academic qualifications and experience in teaching ICT, Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths.
* Strong ICT skills, a passion for staying informed and engaged with technology and the ability to share this with others
* Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
* Ability to create and maintain strong nurturing relationships with young people
* Experience of managing a range of approaches to learning, to include the students with anxiety/reluctant leaners.
