Overview
Payroll Administrator required for a new permanent opportunity based in Wolverhampton with a view to start immediately. You will be solely responsible for the day to day running of the payroll function for the business which will include both a weekly and monthly payroll service. Your duties will include processing timesheets, setting up starters and leavers, holiday pay, sick pay, maternity/paternity pay, sick pay, payroll year end and resolving payroll queries. You will also be required to assist in other areas of finance including expenses, credit cards and paying subcontractors.
Responsibilities
* Manage the day to day running of the payroll function on a weekly and monthly basis.
* Process timesheets; set up starters and leavers.
* Calculate and administer holiday pay, sick pay, maternity/paternity pay.
* Carry out payroll year end activities and resolve payroll queries.
* Assist in other areas of finance including expenses, credit cards and paying subcontractors.
Qualifications/Experience
* Experienced payroll administrator with strong interpersonal skills.
* Working knowledge of computerised payroll software.
