Overview
Cleaning Supervisor (fixed term until 27/02/2026) – Public Conveniences (Multiple Sites).
Salary: £29,173 – £33,287
Hours: 36 per week
Shift Pattern: Four on, four off rotational shift pattern.
Shift times: 10am to 9pm (1 hour unpaid break)
Responsibilities
* Supervise cleaning teams across multiple sites.
* Allocate routine and general tasks to cleaning operatives.
* Deal with matters arising, escalating concerns and reporting unresolved issues to the Locality Hub Team Leader.
* Ensure general cleaning of premises is carried out as required and in accordance with the Service Level Agreement.
* Carry out routine audits, site inspections, report machinery faults, and maintain stock control/orders.
* Handle and utilize cleaning materials/equipment safely and conscientiously.
Qualifications
* Experience in leading or supervising cleaning staff.
* A full clean driver's licence is desirable but not essential.

Pre‑employment Checks
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out of the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. These checks must be satisfactory for a conditional offer to be made.
