Electrical Project Manager – Huntingdon
Salary: £55,000 – £63,000 (depending on experience) + Car / Allowance + Benefits
Our client, a well-established building services contractor, is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team based in Huntingdon. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager looking to take ownership of projects from initial survey through to completion within a fast-paced commercial environment.
The successful Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for delivering electrical projects safely, on time and within budget, while ensuring high standards of compliance, documentation, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
The Role – Electrical Project Manager
As Electrical Project Manager, you will manage multiple electrical projects from survey and quotation stage through to handover. You will work closely with internal teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities

Undertake site surveys and prepare quotations for project works in line with procurement procedures.

Organise and manage plant hire within required project timescales.
*
Deliver store development works and asset replacement schemes from survey through to project completion.
*
Manage project programmes, labour planning, HSE plans, risk assessments, method statements and waste management.
*
Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and company HSE management systems.
*
Attend key meetings including M&E technical meetings, pre-start meetings, handovers and cost reviews.
*
Liaise with the Quantity Surveyor to ensure project revisions and expenditure remain within budget.
*
Identify and resolve repair, maintenance and installation issues impacting project delivery.
*
Monitor workforce and subcontractor performance to maximise productivity and efficiency.
*
Manage project documentation in accordance with company quality management procedures.
*
Provide information for operation and maintenance manuals and health and safety files.
*
Ensure projects are delivered snag-free and resolve snagging within six working days.
Working Hours
*
40 hours per week
*
Flexibility required depending on project demands, particularly within the retail sector.

Salary: £55,000 – £63,000 depending on experience
