Scope of Services
We seek a Senior Project Planner / Planning Engineer (Outside of IR35) to provide flexible, independent contract services supporting the delivery of diverse onshore and offshore energy projects, typically at conceptual, pre-FEED, or FEED stages.
The scope includes:
1. Project Planning and Scheduling: Establish Work Breakdown Structures and develop project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project, supporting Genesis and client project plans, including cost estimates for offshore, onshore, and subsea projects.
2. Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress against baselines, prepare progress reports, Gantt charts, S-curves, and perform Earned Value Analysis.
3. Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines and provide updates on schedule performance.
Requirements
The service provider must have:
* Formal qualification or certification in Project Management, Engineering, or Planning
* Extensive experience in project planning and scheduling for major energy projects, including conceptual phases
* Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project
* Knowledge of project management methodologies like Critical Path and Earned Value Management
* Experience in resource allocation and cost control
* Attention to detail and multitasking ability
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with full command of English
