What we client is looking for:-
A dependable, detail-focused Transport Plannerto join the operations team. This role is essential in keeping transport running smoothly, ensuring accurate administration and clear communication between drivers, planners, the team and customers. Our client would be happy with someone completely new to transport as long as you have transferrable skills.
Schedule:-
Days/Hours Monday to Friday working 8am until 4.30pm
Rate of Pay:- Salary dependant on experience (starting at £25.5k - £27.5k)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Processing and updating transport paperwork, delivery notes
2. Monitoring vehicle movements and supporting transport operations
3. Communicating with driversregardingroutes, delays, and instructions
4. Updating transport management systems (TMS) accurately and in real time
5. Handling customer and internal queries professionally
6. Reporting issues such as delays, shortages, or vehicle problems to the Transport Manager
