The role
We are looking for a dynamic and passionate practitioner to provide high-quality, current care throughout the perioperative environment. Experience in one or two of the following disciplines is required: Scrub or Anaesthetics and Recovery. Scrub experience is essential in elective Orthopaedics and/or elective Ophthalmology.
You will have access to the Ramsay Academy, with potential to gain your SFA qualification, and the opportunity to develop your career across our network of over 30 independent hospitals across the UK. Where you’ll be based
The Cherwell Hospital, built in 2006, combines modern patient accommodation with advanced technical facilities. It features three laminar airflow theatres and a newly built Ophthalmology suite with a Surgicube. The hospital is a 40-bed inpatient and day-case facility specializing in Orthopaedic and Ophthalmology Surgery, serving private, insured, and NHS patients.
What you’ll bring with you
* NMC/HCPC Registered
* Previous Orthopaedic and/or Ophthalmic Scrub experience, or Anaesthetics & Recovery experience
* Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) is desirable but not essential
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing needs
* A passion for delivering excellent patient-focused service
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Proven computer skills
