Job Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced verification engineer to join the GPU Hardware Team in Cambridge. As a valuable member of our GPU HW group, you will deploy either constrained-random simulation techniques using SystemVerilog/UVM or formal methods, as appropriate for the targeted design. The candidate will be involved in hands‑on project work, collaborate with other IP verification specialists across Arm sites, and knowledge‑share with other engineers.
Responsibilities
* Ownership of a specific area of a GPU, ranging from unit‑level/multi‑unit level testbench development.
* Responsibility for producing test plans and verification strategies by reviewing proposed design changes.
* Planning, tracking, and coordinating your own tasks while collaborating with the team to meet high‑quality goals within the planned timeframe.
* Suggest and deploy innovations and improvements for the team and group.
Required Skills And Experience
* Several years of consistent record in crafting and implementing verification environments for complex RTL designs.
* Proficient in the use of hardware verification languages e.g., SystemVerilog or Specman ‘e’ based on UVM.
* Understanding of end‑to‑end HW IP verification processes.
* Understanding of the fundamentals of computer architecture, with an emphasis on pipelining, exception handling, interrupt/event handling, memory systems, and multi‑threading. Preferably experienced with ARM processors and bus protocols (AMBA AXI, CHI) and ARM processor‑based systems.
Nice To Have Attributes
* C/C++, Shell Scripting, Python.
* Continuous integration platforms such as Jenkins, version control tool git.
* Experience in verifying design with a reference model (System C/C++).
* Exposure to the simulation tools provided by large EDA vendors.
* Exposure to formal verification is a plus.
