We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead one of our sectional delivery teams, ensuring the safe, efficient, and profitable execution of large-scale earthworks.
This is a key leadership position, acting as the primary representative of the contractor on-site. You’ll embody our values, foster strong stakeholder relationships, and report directly to the Operations Leader and Senior Leadership Team.We’re looking for a motivational and dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, prioritises safety above all else, and inspires teams to achieve excellence. Core Responsibilities
1. Direct and manage earthworks construction, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
2. Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing team.
3. Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
4. Collaborate with internal support teams for seamless operations.
5. Provide regular updates to senior leadership.
6. Take full ownership of your section, guaranteeing safe and productive daily operations.
7. Ensure all plant, vehicles, and equipmentply with statutory inspections andpany standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
8. Demonstrated experience in large-scale linear earthworks.
9. Strong grasp of earthworks specifications, material handling, and operational limitations.
10. Skilled in creating resource-loaded programmes and budgets.
11. Thorough understanding of Health, Safety, Environmental legislation and employment law.
12. Innovative problem-solver focused on safer, faster, and cost-effective solutions.
13. Inspirational leadership style with the ability to engage at all levels.
14. Resilient under pressure, adaptable, and decisive.
15. Valid CSCS card required.
