A nurturing and well-respected Primary SEND School in Haywards Heath is looking for a dedicated, full-time Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.
Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to pupils with Autism and ADHD
* Support classroom learning under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
* Encourage positive behaviour and model social skills
* Help to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
* Assist with the implementation of EHCP targets and behaviour plans
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience working with children with Autism and/or ADHD (essential)
* A calm, patient and consistent approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine interest in supporting young learners with SEND
* Able to be a positive male role model (preferred but not essential)
