Our award-winning business is seeking a talented, hardworking, and ambitious Business Development Manager to help us grow and be part of the wider Beauparc Group.
About The Role
This role primarily involves new business development through door-to-door direct sales and upselling to existing customers, with some account management following contract signing. After bespoke training, you will be expected to meet quarterly targets based on the annualized revenue from contracts signed.
Responsibilities
* Door-to-door canvassing; presenting the business professionally, selling features and benefits of services
* Upsell waste and recycling solutions to existing customers
* Complete client site risk assessments and site audits
* Handle inbound inquiries
* Pre-qualify opportunities ensuring they meet 'business fit' and pass credit checks
* Monitor and report on market and competitor activities
* Update CRM with prospect information daily
* Participate in regional networking events to showcase services
* Complete weekly KPI reports
* Attend sales meetings
* Book appointments with key management personnel to present company offerings
* Cross-sell additional services such as shredding, hazardous waste, etc.
* Manage diary and prioritize planning
* Respond to helpdesk queries within 24 hours
* Assist with the implementation of new services
* Perform other duties as assigned by line manager
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone tenacious, passionate, positive, and competitive, who enjoys challenges, working in a team, and earning commissions. Willingness to work hard and prove oneself is essential.
About You
* Experience in selling service contracts
* Telemarketing and appointment booking experience
* Confident door-to-door canvassing skills
* Full UK driving license
* Experience in the waste industry is a plus
* Successful B2B sales experience
* Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
