Our client, a leading name in the packaging sector, is seeking a Quality Administrator to support their Quality team and keep the QMS running smoothly. About the Role You’ll provide day-to-day administrative support within the Quality department—owning documentation control, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating communications with suppliers, customers, and internal teams. You’ll help ensure products and processes meet required standards. Full training will be provided (including on sampling plans such as BS 6001). Key Responsibilities Maintain quality documentation and records (QMS, SOPs, work instructions, version control). Prepare and file inspection paperwork, Certificates of Analysis/Conformity, and batch release docs. Log and track NCRs, customer complaints, concessions, CAPA actions, and change controls. Update quality trackers and KPIs in Excel; produce regular reports for the team/management. Coordinate internal and supplier/customer visits (agendas, packs, minutes, follow-ups). Support audits: schedule, assemble evidence packs, capture actions, chase closures. Keep calibration, training, and competency records up to date. Liaise professionally with suppliers/customers to request evidence, chase responses, and share documents. Use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams/SharePoint) to manage files and workflows. (Nice to have) Assist with inspection scheduling and sampling paperwork aligned to BS 6001. About You Proven administration experience—ideally in quality, manufacturing, or a regulated environment. Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisation/time management. Confident IT skills: Excel (filters, lookups/pivots a bonus), Word, Outlook, Teams/SharePoint. Clear, professional communicator; comfortable coordinating across teams and with external partners. Familiarity with QMS/ISO 9001 or product inspection processes is advantageous (training provided). Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative quality team. Full UK driving licence is for occasional site/supplier visits Why Join?
