Requirements
Must have:
- Previous experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, System Architect or Solution Consultant with project ownership and delivery responsibility. - Proven experience delivering with modern application stacks and architectures, particularly headless CMS, composable commerce, and API-first design. - Experience integrating multiple third-party services into a secure, scalable solution. - Infrastructure and DevOps knowledge including hosting (Azure preferred), networking, security, CI/CD. - A track record of leading technical discussions with clients and stakeholders, translating business requirements into robust technical solutions. - Strong business acumen and a client-centric approach. - Strong communication skills across technical levels from senior developers to non-technical clients. - Delivery-focused mindset with the ability to manage priorities and make autonomous decisions. - Experience delivering mid-enterprise digital platforms within digital agency or client-facing consultancy environments (desirable). - Strong background with JavaScript-based frameworks such as React and or back-end frameworks like .NET (desirable). - Hands-on experience with DXP/CMS platforms and commerce platforms (desirable). - Knowledge of Azure infrastructure, DevOps pipelines, and cloud architecture patterns (desirable).
Responsibilities:
- Drive architectural decisions across projects and provide technical leadership across the company. - Create robust, scalable architectures for modern headless composable commerce and CMS projects. - Lead requirements gathering workshops and translate business needs into technical solutions. - Write detailed technical specifications, cost estimations, and integration strategies. - Lead technical discussions with clients, technology partners, and third-party vendors. - Stay close to the code, actively building critical technical components and mentoring the team. - Work closely with Delivery Managers as a technical partner. - Support and mentor senior developers in translating high-level designs into component-level implementations. - Identify technical risks early and manage design changes during development. - Ensure solutions meet production requirements in performance, security, resilience, and scalability.
