Job Description:
This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in your offices at least 2 days a week.
As the UK’s largest fibre-only network, and its only proven wholesale challenger, we’re busy setting new standards for what digital infrastructure can and should be.
Designed from scratch for the internet, our network is greener, more reliable and ready for the future. The products we provide over it not only lead the market on speed, value and service, but also help businesses to innovate, provide communities with a better digital foundation, and support economic growth locally and nationally.
What does that mean for you? The opportunity to make internet connections (and daily life) a whole lot better, for many people!
Joining us as a Network Maintenance Manager (FEX, FAC & CoLo)
As a Network Maintenance Manager, you will coordinate and deliver maintenance programs and audit routines across Fibre Exchange (FEx), Fibre Active Cabinets (FAC), and CoLo sites. Your expertise will ensure minimal service disruptions through robust maintenance involving internal and external resources.
You’ll receive a competitive salary, a car allowance, a performance bonus, and benefits supporting your financial, physical, and mental wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
* Manage multiple work schemes for efficient M&E network maintenance
* Collaborate with Delivery Partners for accurate PPM and reactive work reporting
* Identify and resolve supplier performance issues and drive operational efficiencies
* Produce weekly reports on progress, risks, costs, and compliance
Qualifications and skills:
You should have a proven track record in delivering small to medium works, with strong leadership and communication skills. Additionally, you will have:
* Experience managing budgets extending to millions
* Ability to confidently present and influence stakeholders and suppliers
* Proficiency in project and budget management fundamentals
* Pragmatic problem-solving skills
* Working knowledge of Microsoft applications and data metrics
* Full UK Driving Licence
