The estate is seeking a reliable and experienced Grounds Person to support the smooth running of its grounds, gardens, and wider estate. This varied and hands-on role would suit a practical individual with a broad skillset, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to work across multiple departments including property maintenance, gardens, forestry, and animal care. Key Responsibilities: * General grounds maintenance including grass cutting, strimming, and hedge trimming * Maintenance of paddocks and estate lawns to a high standard * Assisting with maintenance of the estate’s cricket ground and pavilion * Minor property repairs including stock fencing, clearing drains, and path upkeep * Operating estate machinery including tractors, mowers, and attachments * Supporting livestock and equine activities as required * Assisting the forestry team with woodland tasks This is a fantastic opportunity for a dependable and self-motivated individual who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in high standards of presentation and upkeep. You will also need to be comfortable working alone as well as within a small, collaborative team.
