Overview
The Trust is seeking to appoint two substantive Consultant Gastroenterologists: one with an interest in Hepatology and one with an interest in luminal Gastroenterology. The appointments will join the existing team of 16 Gastroenterologists and will work across the Trust's three sites: Andover War Memorial Hospital, Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, and the Royal Hampshire County Hospital.
The current consultants have subspecialty interests in upper and lower therapeutic endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, hepatology, nutrition, pancreatobiliary and motility/functional disease. Services include bowel cancer screening, ERCP and spyglass, endoscopic ultrasound, advanced GI physiology and capsule endoscopy.
