Role Overview
The Payroll Executive role is vital in achieving this goal. You will oversee payroll for approximately 30,000 colleagues, collaborating with payroll associates to meet key deadlines and ensuring payroll is delivered accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee payroll processing for 30,000 colleagues across 26 monthly payrolls, including offshore and ROI payrolls.
2. Investigate and resolve complex payroll queries from colleagues.
3. Support and train team members on payroll processes and queries.
4. Ensure payroll is processed correctly, in line with policies and legislation.
5. Monitor team performance, seek process improvements, and implement changes.
6. Support stakeholders and distribute data and reports as needed.
7. Utilize Dayforce payroll software effectively.
8. Train colleagues on new skills and processes.
9. Continuously seek process improvements.
Minimum Requirements
* Experience with complex, high-volume payrolls.
* Good understanding of tax and NI rules, including calculations for advances, arrears, and additional payments.
* Knowledge of HMRC remittances, court orders, and employee benefits such as pensions and healthcare.
* Strong desire to learn and improve.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Customer-focused approach.
* Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
* Effective communication skills for explaining pay queries clearly.
