An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Children's Residential Deputy Manager to join a well-established 2-bed children's home in Warrington. We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and child-focused individual to support the Registered Manager in delivering outstanding care and creating a safe, supportive environment for the young people in our service.
? About the Role:
* Full-time, 37 hours per week on a rota basis (including weekends and sleep-in duties).
* Play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of the home.
* Provide guidance and support to a team of residential care staff.
* Ensure the service meets the highest standards of care in line with Ofsted regulations.
* Foster a nurturing and therapeutic environment for young people to thrive.
? Additional Benefits:
* 20% enhancements Monday–Friday (7pm–11pm)
* 30% enhancements Saturday & Sunday evenings (7pm–11pm)

* Easily commutable from Greater Manchester, Cheshire, and Merseyside
? Essential Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People / Diploma in Social Care
* Current First Aid, Fire Safety, and Team Teach (or similar) certificates
* Experience working with children in a social care setting
* Sound understanding of the needs and behaviours of young people
* Experience supervising or managing staff
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Calm, flexible, and reflective approach to working with young people
* Committed to safeguarding and professional standards
* Willing to work unsociable hours and complete sleep-ins on a rota basis
? Desirable:
* NVQ Level 4 or QCF Level 5 in Care/Management
* Understanding of performance and budget management
* Full UK Driving Licence
