Full time Support Worker in Worthing 37.5 hours per week
Shift Patterns: M ixture early/lates/waking nights and working every other weekend
FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE AS YOU WILL BE DRIVING AUTOMATIC MOBILITY VEHICLE
You will be a key player in delivering essential, person-centered support to two gentlemen with learning disabilities and complex health needs. M ust be willing to undertake British Sign Language qualification, along with health and social care qualifications.
Prior experience in Health & Social Care settings is essential. You should have a strong background in similar roles, equipped to foster independence and empower individuals to live fulfilling lives.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Personal Care: Assisting with daily hygiene and care routines.
* Manual Handling: Ensuring safe and effective physical support.
* Medication Administration: Managing and administering prescribed medications.
* Household Tasks: Helping with daily chores to maintain a comfortable living environment
* Build meaningful connections and create opportunities for social engagement and recreation
