Job overview The Perinatal Mental Health SCPHN will work across the 0-5 Health Visiting service providing expert health support and knowledge. The role involves supporting a caseload of families identified as needing additional wellbeing support in the perinatal period. The post holder will offer advice and support to families using evidence-based tools and encourage parents to access community-based services and evidence outcomes utilising Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Health Scale. Advert · Act in accordance with the NMC code of professional conduct, maintaining professional competence and standards. Deliver the commissioned service; prioritising, managing time and resources effectively in line with best practice. Utilise specialist skills and knowledge to assess the health and health related needs of children and their families. Support identification and delivery of care in line with the Healthy Child Programme (HCP) for 0-5 and the Perinatal Wellbeing model.
