Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a fantastic secondary school located just 25 minutes from Derby city centre. They are looking to appoint a History Teacher to join their team as soon as possible on a full-time basis.
About the Role:
You'll be teaching History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that bring the past to life. The school has a strong humanities department, supportive leadership, and a genuine commitment to staff development and student success.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering dynamic, inclusive History lessons
* Supporting pupils to reach their full academic potential
* Managing the classroom effectively and positively
* Contributing to the wider school community and extra-curricular activities
Who We're Looking For:
* A qualified History Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
* A commitment to inspiring students through engaging content and creative approaches
* A positive, flexible attitude and strong behaviour management skills
